The route of administration is subcutaneous, intramuscular or intravenous. It
can be applied with intrauterine diluting 5 ml of Baytril Injectable 10% in 80 to 100 ml of sterile distilled water or sterile physiological saline.
Intramammary to treat mastitis route is not recommended, because it can cause irritation (even diluted).
for the excellent dissemination that has Baytril Injectable 10% , the parenteral route is indicated for these infections.
The dosing routine Baytril Injectable 10% corresponds to the use of 2.5 mg of active substance per kg body weight, equivalent to 1 ml of Baytril Injectable 10% per 40 kg body weight.
The optimum dosage interval is 24 hours.
As usual in antimicrobial therapy with other antibiotics, it is recommended in severe cases, shock therapy start applying 1 ml per 20 kg (5 mg).

Respiratory infections caused by:

Genitourinary infections produced by:
E. coli, Corynebacterium spp., Mycoplasma spp., Ureaplasmas spp .
Septicemic infections caused by:
Salmonella spp . , Listeria monocytogenes, E. coli, Haemophilus somnus.
Purulent infections (gabarro, abscesses) caused by:
.. Fusobacterium necrophorum, E. coli, Pseudomonas spp, Bacteroides melaninogenicus, Proteus spp, Staphylococcus aureus .
Do not administer higher volumes of 10 mL in the same application site.
This product should not be used 5 days before slaughter of animals.
Do not consume food derived products up to 5 days after treatment ended.
